Art in bali

          Not only are the highlights natural beauty of Bali, but the grandeur of traditional communities is also a lot of interesting and even much studied by people outside of Bali. As we know, Bali is rich in a variety of traditional art, traditional clothing, language, and religious traditions that characterize the reality of Balinese life. Is Barong and Kecak which became one of Balinese traditional dances that are well known everywhere.

What pulled from both this dance? Both of these dances can dikata as an icon of traditional arts of Bali who was appointed to a national and even international level. The second dance is often used as an effective media campaign tour packages in Bali by various agencies and travel agents. In fact, almost all agents and tour operators to Bali always invites his guests to watch the Barong and Kecak this.

In general, the dance is held by a group (Sakeha) traditional dance in faithfulness every village in Bali. As in Batubulan for example, there are some Sakeha who have the same kind of dance with other Sekeha. Differences between the groups exist in the form of services and places the show alone. At any shows in Batubulan, usually held the first dance is Barong Dance Dance combined with Kris so that both are known as Barong and Keris Dance.



Barong Dance


Barong portray a fierce battle of good versus evil. Vs Barong Rangda is two exponents contradictory to one another. Barong denoted with kindness, and his opponent is a manifestation of evil Rangda. Barong dance is usually performed by two dancers who wear masks like the tiger as well as the lion dance culture in Chinese culture. Whereas Rangda masks of creepy faced with two pointy canine teeth in his mouth.



Kecak Dance



Kecak first created in 1930 that played by men. This dance is usually performed by many male players were seated position lined up to form a circle with a certain rhythm accompanied by menyeruakan "top" repeatedly, raising both hands. The Kecak dance depicting the Ramayana where the current line of apes help Rama against Ravana.
